•     Download GRAIN (Version 16.63) installation file for the years 2016 and onwards
    1. If current version of your program is 10.xx or 11.xx or above, then only click on the above link.
    2. If current version of your program is less than 10, then call for assistance.
    3. To find out the current version of your program, run the program. Version number is displayed on the top left corner of the screen besides the caption Ver or Version.

    • Before you start download and installation...

      1. If you are facing any problem while starting or running the current package (i.e. the old version) then, you MUST first get it solved and then only install the new version.
      2. If you have multiple firms and you have already run carry forward for all the firms at least once then, you may install the new version without carry forward any more. However, if you have not run carry forward for all the firms at least once, you MUST run the carry forward for those firm/s (firm/s for which no carry forward has been run) before installing the new version.
      3. You MUST install this new version for the years 2016 and onwards. DO NOT install this version for the years 2011 to 2015. Separate installation file for these years is available below.
      4. You MUST take backup for the year(s) before installing the new version.
      5. You MUST close all the instances of the package of the current year as well as all other years.
      6. All other users MUST CLOSE all the instances of the package of the year for which new version is being installed.

      1. Click on above link to download installation file on the Desktop of your PC.
      2. Double-click on the said installation file. This will extract necessary files required for updation. Explanation of changes files in English and Gujarati will also be extracted. Thereafter, accounting year in which the new version is to be installed, will be asked.
      3. Enter accounting year as 2016 or any other name which you normally enter to start the package for 2016 and press Enter. This will complete the installation of new Version in 2016.
      4. Start the program for 2016 and do Indexing Files for all firms.
      5. To install the new version for the year 2017, repeat steps 2 to 4 by entering accounting year as 2017 or any other name which you normally enter to start the package for 2017. Repeat these steps for the year 2018 and onwards too.
      6. After successful installation as above for all the years, double-click on "Delete unwanted Grain Installation Files for 2016" file to delete the installation files, not required any more.

      3. Enter accounting year as 2011 or any other name which you normally enter to start the package for 2011 and press Enter. This will complete the installation of new Version in 2011.
      4. Start the program for 2011 and do Indexing Files for all firms.
      5. To install the new version for the year 2012, repeat steps 2 to 4 by entering accounting year as 2012 or any other name which you normally enter to start the package for 2012.
      6. After successful installation as above for both the years, double-click on "Delete unwanted Grain Installation Files for 2011" file to delete the installation files, not required any more, except Grain Changes in 2011.pdf file.

  •     Download Debtor Master Updation Module
    1. This module will automatically update sundry information such as Address, TIN Nos, etc. of Debtors in the target firm (any firm) of the target year (any year), from the corresponding information of Debtor Master in the source firm (any firm) of the source year (any year).

    • Instructions for Installation :

      1. Download above files on the Desktop of your PC.
      2. Double-click on Install Debtor Master Updation file on the Desktop to install the Module.
      3. After successful installation, remove Install Debtor Master Updation file from the Desktop, as the same is no longer required.
      4. Upon successful installation, a shortcut namely Debtor Master Updation will be placed on the Desktop.
      5. Same shortcut will also be placed on the Start Menu. You may drag it to +Financial Accounting-XP options menu, if needed.
      6. Run the module by clicking or double-clicking on the shortcut.

To copy the file, follow these steps.

  1. Go to the source location from where the file is to be copied.
  2. Using keyboard : Select the file (i.e. highlight the file) using arrow keys or quickly type a few letters of the file name or peatedly press 1st letter of the file name untill the required file is highlighted. Then press Ctrl + C to copy the file.
    Using mouse : Right-click on the file and click on the copy option to copy it.

To paste the file, follow these steps.

  1. Go to the target location where in the file is to be copied.
  2. Using keyboard : Press Ctrl + V to paste the file.
    Using mouse : Right-click on the empty space in the folder and click on the paste option to paste it.
